Mr. Klaus Berger
Vice President, Fuel Cell Division, Mercedes-Benz Canada
Mr. Klaus Berger studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
In 1986, he joined Daimler AG in Germany, and held various positions in Daimler’s technology development, mechanical engineering and factory construction divisions. In addition, Berger was also involved in several production start-ups in the company’s powertrain fields.
In 2007, Berger established a technical laboratory in Stuttgart, Germany for the development of fuel cell stack components.
In 2008, he established a team for the preparation of fuel cell stack production.2009 Responsible for the stack production technology development of fuel cell components.
In 2011, Berger became Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc., Fuel Cell Stack Production plant in Burnaby, BC.
